In the heart of historical Summer Haven steps to gorgeous Matanzas Inlet Beach!

The first thing you will notice about Casa Aqua is the local feel, it offers you everything you could want on a beach vacation without the stuffy tourist feel. You are only 1000 feet from the beautiful white sands and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a 5 minute walk by beach to Matanzas Inlet and some of the best bridge and surf fishing in Florida. After a day at the beach you will enjoy coming back to Casa Aqua and sitting under the many oak trees and even building a fire in the fire pit to roast marshmallows for s'mores.

The owners have decorated this house with comfort in mind, it is beautiful yes, but also cozy. The perfect home to cook the fish you caught that day or play family board games. There is also a gas fireplace in the living room to take the chill out of those chilly winter nights. My favorite place in the house is the top porch where you can sit and watch the sunrise, set and even watch the moon rise from the ocean and witness the brilliant stars as they come out, all wile viewing and hearing the crash of the Atlantic Ocean. I promise once you come to this beach paradise you will be booking again for next year.

There is a two-car garage to park your car and porches that face both east and west, so this makes it the perfect house to have lots of together time or alone time to sip on a glass of wine and read a book. The kitchen is stocked with all you need so grab a few groceries or you can go to the many great restaurants in the area. Casa Aqua offers a dining room and table, a kitchen table and an outside table to eat at or play games.

The living room is the perfect place to end a perfect day at the beach and watch a movie on the 55 inch curve TV, and with the flip of a switch you have a cozy fire. There is a sleeper sofa in there for extra guests too. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed and flat screen TV with a ½ bath. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, two of which face the ocean and have their own private porches. The master has a king size bed with private bathroom and balcony, the second bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds in it, so it is perfect for two families or for snowbirds with family planning to visit. The last bedroom upstairs offers a queen size, a fold up twin and a baby trundle bed, so it is perfect to put all the kids in to have a sleepover together. Upstairs has a private master bath with walk in shower and soaking tub and the guest bathroom has a walk in shower.

There is a full size washer and dryer so pack light and even a game room with a screen room on the first floor. You will love the beach, but be sure to explore historical St. Augustine, Flagler Beach, Daytona Beach is very close by and even Orlando is about 1 ½ hour drive away.

Great area

By:

Great house- beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed, loved fence area for dogs, walk to beach little longer but that was okay, loved the top level view of ocean

February 2019 - The property was amazing. The house was very spacious for the group of 8. I can say nothing bad about the property. The house was very clean, every amenity that we needed. With deck on the front and back side of the house on both floors. There was always a place to sit and enjoy the view. The upper roof deck had an absolutely perfect view of the beach. The beach was very peaceful. Not crowded like most beaches. I will be staying here again in the future. My family had an amazing vacation. Thanks to the owner for the easy check in and out. This was our first time staying at a beach house and they have hooked us for life. Rodney L

February 2019 - Overall, the property was clean and well appointed. It was very comfortable with porches for days. We would love to come back. Charles H

December 2018 -We loved our stay at the Casa Aqua! The location exceeded our expectations and we really loved the landscaping and tree coverage around the property that really seemed to buffer noise and privacy from the surrounding properties. Just a quick walk to the beach and the perfect distance from St. Augustine provided easy access to what attracted us to this area. We had just a few small issues with the overall infrastructure of the home but the owners seem to care and address them quickly. The layout of the home was perfect for both of our families and the floor-plan accommodated all of our needs. We will stay at this property again! Philip V

November 2018 - Great house right next to local Surf Spot near Matanza Inlet. We checked out the surf from the crows nest..then hit the waves! Watched the sunrise from the master bedroom every morning and the sunset from the west balcony every night. Had dinner on the southern style porch and even had a fire in the fire pit the night it got s little chilly. We drove into St Augustine to shop and do the tourist thing, so much history there. It was such a fun vacation. The house had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return! Lynnet A

October 2018 - Beautiful rooms and balcony. Lovely beach! Quiet, secure and enchanting! Jean C

September 2018 - The house is easily located just a block or so off the beach. It is decorated beautifully (just like the photos) and provided plenty of space for us and our 3 boys (and small dogs). The beds were clean and comfortable, the washer and dryer were a nice bonus to avoid packing too many clothes. There were spices/pots/pans (we donated a new skillet) and dishes to make shopping easy with a starter trash bag/paper towel/dish soap etc to get you through the first day. The crows nest is amazing and we spent many evenings up there watching the stars and feeling the breeze off the ocean. The beach is dog friendly, local and secluded. We tried our hand at surf casting (no luck! except for a sting ray on my foot so don't forget to shuffle!)...but we enjoyed plenty of bocce balls tournaments on the packed sand due to the amazing sand bars. Close drive to the Mantanza fort, St Augustine and Flagler Beach. There were plenty of beach towels, a few beach chairs, a cooler and frisbees for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend the house and will definitely be back! Thank you! Brandi P

September 2018 - My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Casa Aqua House. It is a quaint house, clean, well appointed, and has everything you need to go to the beach and enjoy your day (we however brought our own chairs, cooler, & umbrella). It is a short walk from the house to the beach. It has a great location not far from restaurants and some shops. The managers were very responsive to any questions or messages that I had for them...like extending our stay a couple more days due to Hurricane Florence. The home itself is in a good location and the beach is very private with not a lot of tourists. Our children enjoy the Wi-Fi and the adults enjoyed the TV. It does need a few minor repairs however (ice machine in refrigerator not working, kitchen faucet had minor issues, and a little TLC in the yard). We would still highly suggest the home for you and your family if you're looking for a good getaway. This will be a home that we will look to book probably in the future to go back and enjoy some more quality family time. Gary B

July 2018 - We had an amazing experience at Casa Aqua. The house itself is impeccable. Very spacious, well-lit with plenty of windows and natural light throughout the house, and most of all, clean and comfortable. We were a party of four adults and five kids and there was room to spare. The beach is a short walk away and, given that the house is situated in an inlet, it was fascinating to experience the rising tide in the late afternoon. While there are a few gas stations and small grocery stores nearby, note that major supermarkets and restaurants are about ten miles away. That said, the reason we loved this place was because it felt as if you were in a private island. Would love to be back soon! Noel E

June 2018 - This house was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone fit comfortably and the decks wrapped around the house are a huge plus. The widows walk has the most amazing views of the sunrise and sunset. There are a few minor repairs needed to the house. There is a short walk to the beach and if you didn’t want to walk there is usually plenty of parking remaining. My family would stay here again.

May 2018 - Our family loved our recent stay at Jeff and Gina’s beach home. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Just a short walk down the road was a beautiful white sand beach even though would recommend to schedule your time on the beach prior to high tide. Plenty of grocery stores, shopping and great restaurants nearby and a quick drive to beautiful historic St. Augustine. Loved our wine tour and tasting at San Sebastián and dinner at Columbia Restaurant among others. Hope to visit again next year!

May 2018 - Beautiful, private home.

April 2018 - I truly enjoyed my recent stay at Casa Aqua. Please thank the owners for allowing me to rent their beach home. I would love the opportunity to visit again in the future and will book directly with Teeming Vacation Rentals.

March 2018 - Had 3 boys and in laws stay with us for the week - 7 people total. The house is as advertised and very nice. There are some minor things that may bother some - like the bathtub in the master was not in working order - but the shower was huge and no one cared. The area is still beat up by the hurricane and in recovery mode. You are a short walk to the beach on the inlet which is just incredible at low tide, there is no beach at high tide but you are a quarter mile from another beach access. We drove the 10 minutes to Crescent beach park a few times when it was high tide and it was wonderful and easy. TV was great for NCAA (very important!) and all the appliances worked and were in good shape/modern.
