Sweet Orange in the Heart of Historic St. Augustine!

*Reservation must fall in Sat-Sat window 6/6-8/10*

You will love this authentic 100+ year old St. Augustine Home that appears to have benefitted from healing waters of the Fountain of Youth. It is located on historic Orange Street just blocks to the Castillo de San Marcos and other historical monuments, downtown St Augustine and the Famous George Street where you will find plenty of dining, shopping and sightseeing tours! You can park your car in your own driveway, and walk or take the Sunshine Bus to supermarkets, tourist's attractions and the Beautiful St. Augustine Beaches.

The second you arrive you are greeted by the Classic Florida veranda style porch adorned with two white rocking chairs. As you enter the 1st level of this renovated home, you instantly feel the sunny sweet vibe of days gone by with a modern twist. The comfortable living room with hard wood floors is a mix of tasteful antiques, leather furniture and a TV with Cable, Wi-Fi and DVD. The large bright Kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking southern inspired meals and dining on the family style kitchen table. From the Kitchen, out the back door, is the quiet, shaded, fenced in back yard with a stone patio making it the perfect place for morning coffee or cozy evening meals. Also on the 1st level is a convenient Master Suite with Queen sized bed, TV and Master Bathroom with a step-in shower. This area has also been renovated, but not to the point that it has lost its charm and comfort of its original era with Hardwood floors and charming old fashioned touches throughout.

Upstairs you will find a 2nd bedroom with queen sized bed and a bonus room that can act as a quiet upstairs TV/reading room or a 3rd bedroom with a twin daybed with trundle. The upstairs bathroom is easily accessible from both and has all the allure of an early 20th century spa with a step-in shower.

Once in St. Augustine you may never want to leave, as you will instantly be taken in by the Floridian lifestyle. You have plenty of nearby beaches to explore, the St. Augustine Pier is a great land based fishing opportunity and the Municipal Marina allows you to moor your boat! Nearby attractions include; The Alligator Farm, the Lightner Museum, Fort Matanzas National Monument, The St. Augustine Light house, Flagler College, Potters Wax Museum, Ghost tours and much more! Across the street from the home, are basketball and tennis courts. Head north on I-95 about 45 miles and you will find Jacksonville and the communities that make up "Jax Beaches". Head south on A1A and you will find, The Hammock, Palm Coast, Flagler Beach and Daytona.

December 2018 - Lovely little old house in a very convenient St Augustine location. My sisters and I were able to walk most places we wanted to visit in the Old Town area. The kitchen was well equipped and a sunny spot to start our day. Loved that the owners supplied games and puzzles. One addition that would be welcomed is a guide to the TV channels available, although we did not watch TV often. Patricia T

October 2018 - This is a historic home that has been beautifully remodeled. It's a short walk to the historic district (with its shops and eateries), the fort, Flagler College, and the Lightner Museum. Given the parking issues in St Augustine, the location is a huge plus. We found the house to be well maintained and very comfortable. Would stay there again for another trip to the area. Kent P

September 2018 - It was a lovely home. My friends and I walked everywhere and enjoyed the Front porch at night. I would definitely stay again. My only comment would be to have enough paper products to accommodate the guests. Other than that we all had a great time and made lots of memories.. Thank you for sharing your home. Carrie M

August 2018 - this place was great, beach and a few restaurants a few blocks away. the one issue we had was handled within hours of reporting. Karen

January 2018 - We loved staying in this home within walking distance to the downtown historic district and the fort. We never had to use our cars to travel to local restaurants, bars and shopping. Being within 3 minutes walking to the fort and waterside was a unique experience! The home itself has a vintage theme adding to the overall experience. We loved the spacious kitchen, cozy bedrooms and large fenced in backyard. There were even extra cleaning supplies and toiletries. If you are looking for a true St. Augustine experience chose this vacation rental! Shelby A

December 2017 - Sweet Orange gave us one of the best vacation experiences we could have asked for! This beautiful Victorian home had so much character and was very well maintained and amazingly CLEAN. Beth and Teeming were there every step of the way from questions about the reservation to making sure the house was in good condition. We had a blast just walking around to little shops and restaurants that were very close by. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation, thanks Beth and Teeming Vacation Rentals. In the famous words of Arnold “I’ll be back”. Brenton H

July 2017 - This property is the key location for anything in St. Augustine! Walking distance from major sites and restaurants! The home is cute and quaint and will cover all your essential needs throughout your stay. Brittany W

June 2017 - Cute house, great location. Walkable to all the major points of interest. House manages the balance of being rustic/authentic yet still updated. Great place.

June 2017 - The house was great! It was decorated so nicely and very clean. We were within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend staying here!

May 2017 - A great place for couples or a family to stay! We used it as a getaway but would love to bring our kids back. This town holds so much charm and it's all easily accessible from Sweet Orange.

October 2016 - This beautiful home was exactly what we were looking for. We were perfectly situated walking distance from the all the quaint shops and restaurants. The house itself is cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We were concerned that our trip might have been affected by recovery efforts after Hurricane Matthew. But with the exception of a couple places near the water, we hardly saw any damage. Congrats to the City of St Augustine for working so hard to recover so quickly. Sweet Orange is a beautiful place to stay, and I highly recommend anyone wanting to experience St. Augustine at its best to stay here.

September 2016 - My college friends & I adored our cute little house in Saint Augustine. Sweet Orange was perfection on many levels - enough space for us, a well appointed kitchen for our resident gourmet chef who made many of our meals at home, within walking distance from nearly everything and comfortable pretty decor! It is definitely on my list to return to with my husband and sons. Truly a darling space and it was precisely what we hoped for on our girls' weekend.

July 2016 - Loved it! Walking distance to everything for the downtown historic St. Augustine. Quiet, relaxing and clean. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

July 2016 - Location location location! We went for the 4th of July and it was right down the street from the fireworks. When it was over we watched everyone sit in traffic for an hour well we just walked in the house.

October 2015 - The house was very clean and comfortable. Internet service was awesome, as well as tv service. My husband loved sitting on the front porch and watching the world pass by. Some traffic noise as it's a busy street but not unbearable. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to restaurants and attractions. We felt very safe. Will definitely stay there again.

October 2015 - We are 3 older women, school friends who meet several times a year in different places. This time we selected St. Augustine. The house was very clean and had everything we needed including a Keurig. There was some coffee there, but we brought our own also. Very close to old town St. Augustine and only a couple blocks to the trolley stop. We were able to walk easily. Only about a 10 minute drive to the beach. We loved it and would rent it again. The only problem we had was that one of the bedrooms upstairs was warm and could have used a ceiling fan. Other than that, all was perfect.

September 2015 - We had a great time in this house. The house was clean and had everything we needed including a keurig. We were in walking distance to old town St. Augustine and only a couple blocks from the hop on hop off trolley Only a ten minute drive to the beach. The house was wonderful. The only slight problem we had was that one of the upstairs bedrooms should have had a ceiling fan since it was a little warm.

August 2015 - We had a lovely time visiting Sweet Orange. We stayed for our friends 30th birthday and could not have had a better time. This was the most accommodating VRBO I have ever stayed in. The pantry had cleaning supplies, extra toiletries and the kichen even came with a keurig with choice of coffee. The house was walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go downtown. Not to mention the home with so charming and comfortable. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
